Dear Friends, Clients, and Colleagues,
I hope the first few months of 2021 have been going well for you. Here at FSB Public Affairs, we have been working hard for our clients, while also expanding our services and capabilities. I am proud to announce we have just opened a Los Angeles office. Ruben Gonzalez has joined our team as a Senior Vice President of FSBPA and Managing Director of the LA office.

I am thrilled to announce that Andy Fields has also joined FSBPA in Sacramento as a Senior Vice President. As one of California’s top political affairs and campaign strategists, Andy spent more than 12 years working at the California Alliance for Jobs, where he was an expert on transportation issues and ballot measures. Andy has overseen every part of the political process involving ballot measures and, on transportation ballot measures alone, has led successful efforts resulting in more than $25 billion in primary funding.

Ruben Gonzalez,
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Los Angeles Office

In addition to sharing this exciting news, I would also like to thank you for your support and encouragement over the last year. In what has been a difficult year for many, FSBPA has been very fortunate. We are extremely optimistic about our future and, with the growing availability of COVID-19 vaccines, we are optimistic about the future of our Country.
Stay well and all my best,
FSB Public Affairs
A Message From the Chief Client Service Officer:
Vaccines Turn Return to Work Plans into Reality
With so many, including those of us here at FSB Public Affairs, cautiously optimistic about returning to the office following the widespread vaccine rollout, we don’t know exactly what we’ll meet, but nearly everyone agrees it’s been way too long since we’ve been face to face. As our clients navigate through the next stage of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, so will we.

Earlier this month a story in the New York Times stated that more than a third of workers in the Houston and Dallas areas have returned to the office in some capacity, and in New York and San Francisco return to work rates are advancing toward twenty percent. Employers agree that being in the office “improves collaboration, supports the development of younger employees, and nurtures the heart and soul of any company – its culture.” The heart and soul of our culture is our clients and our team members.
As we all learn, listen and solidify plans to bring our teams back to the office – safely – it is our hope that our clients lean on us as we heal together, reinvigorate company cultures, and revive city centers and communities that have been desolate for a year. Whether it’s a communications strategy for internal audiences or external stakeholders, think of us a committed extension of your team. Now more than ever, your success is our success. We remain in this together.
